This is our belief at Movement Reborn, a Movement, Mindset, and Play studio located in Mira Mesa, San Diego. Our primary objective is to assist you in transitioning from Pain to Performance and Longevity by integrating Eastern and Western Movement practices.

We firmly believe that one can live a full life only by moving freely. Our approach involves the principles of Neurokinetic Therapy and applied functional science to pinpoint the core issues of pain and injuries. We then apply the appropriate training strategies to help manage pain and progress towards optimal movement.

Our holistic focus is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, providing lifelong benefits. We provide one-on-one and small group training along with internationally-recognized workshops to help you build your body back to pain-free movement.

THE RRAMP SYSTEM

With the plethora of information and interventions available, it can be challenging to sift through the excess noise that hinders progress. That's where the RRAMP method comes in. It took me over 10 years to develop, but it's a system that combines 30 of the best practices into one simple approach that every client who comes to our facility can learn and apply in under three sessions.

What is NeuroKinetic Therapy and how I use it?

NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) is a technique for testing muscles to identify imbalances in the body. Over time, imbalances can lead to chronic pain because some muscles may be working too much, while others may not be working enough to support the body. This instability and compensation can cause pain.

Typically, when we experience pain, we try to treat the area that is hurting through methods like stretching and massage. However, these results don't always last, and the pain may come back. This often means that we haven't activated the supporting muscles after the release. With NKT, we can identify which supporting muscles need to be activated for longer-lasting relief.

One of the benefits of NKT is that you can feel the muscle activate immediately, and in many cases, the pain disappears or decreases significantly. However, just because you're out of pain doesn't mean it will stay that way. The body needs to learn how to stay out of pain.

That's why we developed our RRAMP method, which stands for Release, Reset, Activate, Move, and Progress. This is the system we use at Movement Reborn to teach the body how to stay pain-free and even get stronger, more mobile, and feel better overall.
